Dr. Fries is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. My surgery went very well. We are very fortunate to have him in our area. If I needed to, I would be willing to travel a distance just to have him be my doctor. He came highly recommended and I totally agree!

Being told you have Melanoma in an eye is an extremely stressful experience. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Fries. He is one of the most caring, and thoughtful surgeons I have met. He took the time to be sure I understood all of my options in the treatments that were available, was willing to explain everything so that I was comfortable making the decision as to the treatment I wanted to pursue. His concern made the ultimate decision to remove the eye much more bearable.

Dr. Fries is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is very easy to talk to, listens to your questions and takes the time to answer them. He always explains things until you understand them. I have never felt rushed by him in an appointment. He also has a great personality with a good sense of humor!
