Dr. Hansel saw me for posterior vitreous detachment, explaining it and answering all of my questions. He was friendly and had a good sense of humor. The wait time was @5 min before the preliminaries with the nurse, and a few more mins to see the Dr.

He checked my eye for any retinal issues after I had experienced peripheral “lightening flashes”. He answered all my questions thoroughly, reassured me, was interested in my issue, and was kind with a great sense of humor.

Although Dr Hansel is very friendly and clearly knows his stuff, he is routinely AT LEAST 30-60 minutes behind.

I always enjoy meeting with Dr Hansel. He explains things well, always asks if I have any questions, lets me know what’s going on with my eyes and what we need to watch for the future. I feel that I can trust him.

Dr Hansel and staff are all very personable, knowledgeable, and caring. With that being said, I never look forward to my annual exam due to excessive wait time. Last year's wait time was over an hour. This year, my entire appointment took one hour; 25 minutes spent lobby waiting.
