Super friendly staff and knowledgeable doctors! It was my second time into their office and it had been many years since my first visit. I was worried I’d be reprimanded for not sticking to an annual exam. I worried for no reason! They were very non-judgmental and simply wanted to help me correct my vision. Receptionist was friendly. Nurse was helpful and kind. And Dr. Meyer is the best. He has a very friendly, knowledgeable bedside manner that I wish all doctors had. Went there for a routine eye exam just to get contact lenses. After a discussion with the eye doctor about my blood pressure, the whole visit was changed from a routine eye exam to a health exam and coded as such and billed to HEALTH Ins. So what should’ve been a free yearly exam turned into 250 bucks of my out-of-pocket that I had to pay. Seems like a real shady way to try to get more money. I’ll not be recommending nor returning after being a 20+ year patient.
Optical center definitely needs work. You can go for a few days without a return phone call, not very friendly and workers are not very customer Orientated.
When my eye dr closed her Fremont office I decided to try someone new. I trusted the reviews. What I found was the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. Then, when I went to pick up my new glasses it was even worse. There are ways to greet people and let them know you care about serving them and this office definitely could use more training in that area.
