The Blanding office has to be full of incompetent employees. Nobody seems to know what’s going on my daughter was sent away today after I called them to give them all pertinent insurance info so there wouldn’t be a problem. So they wouldn’t see her due to supposedly not being insured. Our insurance company stated that they needed an itemized receipt sent to them and they would omit payment. I haven't been to the other facility they have, but Orange Park Eye Center off Park Ave. is amazing. Customer service was excellent. They made my son feel comfortable with laughs and hospitality. I would recommend this place to anyone.
that had me into see the doctor before my appointment time
So, i didn't realize there were 2 locations. Went to Blanding office first. Was told appt was at Park Ave. Left there tried to call Park ave 5 times and their phones are out! Of coarse. Show up and told they have a 15 minute grace period. "And that's a courtesy" from the front desk. Literally 2 people in the office. So they won't see her! � can't reschedule for another month. Of course making an appointment I had to make three weeks in advance, the initial appointment took 2.5hours. I receive a text message saying my eyeglasses were ready for pickup and I were to pick them up during normal business hours. well their hours for a Saturday are 8-2 (because I guess not everyone can take time off of work to make it Monday through Friday 9-5) well jokes on me because I took time to go and pick them up today to not only find out they aren’t open due to a holiday that’s only celebrated on Monday?!?!
