Dr. Tomaras and Liz are amazing. She is compassionate and kind. I rescued a bearded dragon from a home who did not know how to care for the reptiles. The state I found the lizard was extremely bad and the dr. said she had not seen a case this bad in quite some time or even ever. Dr. Tomaras took her time to explain everything to me and went over many scenarios for the poor dragon. There is no better veterinarian for rabbits (or any exotic companion animal) in southern Florida than Dr. Barbara Tomaras. She has cared for dozens of our rescued rabbits (Houserabbit Adoption, Rescue, and Education, Inc.) with expertise, compassion, and skill. Dr Tomaras is the only exotic vet I would trust with my bunnies (Noodle and Mocha). I've been going to her for a few years now and could not be any happier that I found her thru a local rescue!! Even though she's quite far from where I live, it doesn't matter bc the service she provides outweighs the distance. I always feel comfortable knowing my bunnies are in good hands. Her assistants are awesome too!!
