Middle of a pandemic and dealing with pregnancy. I can’t get anyone to answer the phone or any insight on how to deal with Covid. At this point I’m calling the state and my insurance company. This is PATHETIC.

They are the worst gyn in town. I went for an iud removal. They dug around couldn’t find it. Called in another dr and she still couldn’t find it. I was on the table screaming in pain for 30 mins but they didn’t care to stop. They gave me nothing for the pain after. I got home and couldn’t get out of bed for 2 days. Made another apt to see dr Patel. Waited over 2 hours to see her and for her to tell me there’s nothing she can do cuz she didn’t have the right tools. I went to go see Dr. Urmila J Patel. It was my worst gynecologist visit ever. As soon as I walked out their front door I started crying. I’ve been in pain for months trying to figure out what is going on with me/if I can get some help. I walked in hopeful and left defeated. My doctor did not listen to all the things I needed to say, she interrupted me, and acted like I wasn’t really in pain. Unorganized Lakeland offices. Plant city was better than the north Lakeland office by the hospital. I’m not even sure how this place is still up and running. The office manager at the The north lakeland office is soo rude and should probably go back to kindergarten where they teach things like please, thank you, etc. I got a call asking if I had a miscarriage after I transferred care. I would rather pay thousands of dollars out of pocket To be seen elsewhere then have to be seen here.
Find somewhere else to go. This place should get shut down.
Got to be the worst ob centers . Plant city, you can have an apt for a certain time and still not be seen almost 2 hours later.
Dr. Patel had the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. She did not make me feel comfortable or listen to anything I said. She would ask me a question and then talk over me when I tried to answer. If she was in the room with me for 5 minutes that would have been a lot. She was also quick to prescribe me medication instead of listening to my concerns about taking it. Huge lack of compassion. Hands down the most unprofessional doctor’s office I have been in.
