I've been extremely depressed recently and I've been trying to up my anti depression meds and they are refusing to do so. They act like I don't know my own body or how meds affect me. They also tried to rule out my autism after only meeting me for 10 min. I go here cause it's the only place I can get meds right now but I do NOT trust this place and I'm actively looking for places that are not connected to exidous to get the help I need.
Staff could be nice and I'm grateful for that but also have an attitude. There was a young woman looking for help for her mental health and she was struggling but the staff just kept talking about her attitude, like.. OF COURSE SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE, she's not doing well and you're not listening.. they should be used to that already.. and they kinda would talk about her under their breath to each other/separately and that to me was VERY unprofessional. Great service with helpful doctor who prescribed me much needed medication.
I was taken here by the local pd last week. My mental health nurse reported me to be suicidal and the cops showed up at my door while I was on a call with the nurse. I was arrested, handcuffed and put in the back of a police car. Cops said I was not under arrest but was being put in an involuntary detention (just another fancy word for an arrest).
