We were going through another agent, to purchase a house that was listed through Exit Realty. Our offer on the house was accepted, but the listing agent didn't approve of it. We put earnest money down on the house, but Lynn Butkus, the listing agent, didn't change the status of the house to "pending", because she wanted a higher commission. Definitely not impressed at all with Exit Realty.

We were constantly told throughout the process to "relax" and "don't worry". Well Im glad I worried as time after time I had to bring things to my agents attention, especially with closing process and paperwork. If you want to do the work of your agent ( take/update pictures, request open house, review and correct closing documents multiple times, assure listing is accurate, decide if what the buyer is requesting is fair, deciding if something being recommended is legal, and looking out for your best interest), then I highly... read more
