Wouldn't recommend this hospital, would rather be referred at Birmingham queen Elizabeth hospital where the doctors and nurses have the most highest IQ and care. The hospital is always over crowded with alcoholics and junkies that get treated first rather than the patients that are in pain or are sick. What a disaster of a hospital it is! Whats the point of being a doctor or nurse if you hate your job?

We were provided a service that we were told by hospital staff would be covered by our insurance. We are of course, required by law to have health insurance. The doctor prescribed speech therapy as a first ditch effort to avoid surgery. Speech therapy was successful! but at a substantial price tag. The Insurance company refused coverage even after initially indicating it would be covered (doesn't even count toward deductible). Doctor writes letter of medical necessity on appeal but insurance denies anyway. Sure - all of this... read more
Had surgery there just about 2 weeks ago and everyone is so so nice and accommodating!! Super friendly and easy to talk to.

My dad was brought by ambulance to the ER yesterday after falling off a scooter and breaking his fall with his head. His head was bleeding, we was unconscious and unresponsive, among other things, after his fall. The first responders, paramedics and police, were great. We asked that he go to Portsmouth ER but they insisted that since it was a head injury they wanted to take him closer to Exeter and get him a CT scan ASAP. From the front desk to The preop and surgical nurses, post op nurses, anesthesiologist and of course the surgeon, this was the most professional and compassionate team in Day surgery! Kudo’s to all!
