From beginning to this point(1year) I have had issues with paperwork, installation being incomplete and poor engineering and product placement and communication with this company. Installed solar panels along with battery back-up for my home. The cieling in my bedroom caved in because the solar panels were not installed properly. Now my entire roof needs to be replaced and James W****** at Excel Home Solar is not honoring his warranty. He indicated he is not responsible for fixing the improper installation.

These folks have been incredible. Very responsive and professional. I have referred almost a dozen new clients to them. Any time that I have had a question my emails and phone calls are almost always returned the same day. Right now they are getting ready to install three more systems in my HOA.
We are having Solar installed a second time by Excel Solar. After a great experience on our previous home, we reached out to Excel Solar again. He answered a myriad of in depth questions that I had to ensure I was not only getting the correct information for my system, but that I understood everything. Excel Home Solar is the real deal, complete package. From idea to design to engineering to build to inspections to dealing with the utility, they handled it all. This was not a panels on the roof type deal. The project was extremely unique and from the ground up. They never balked at any ideas we had...down to the lighting/switch placement.
