Will someone please review this place and SHUT THEM DOWN!!!! All they care about is cutting costs and increasing profits.
Honestly there is so much I can say about this place. Me and a friend had an experience here and it was absolutely traumatizing. I went to Venice when I was 11-12 for around 4 months right when Covid started. First of all I was stuck in a ward with 15-20 girls who were aggressive and extremely suicidal. If I could give this place 0 stars I would I won't reveal who I am. I worked here on pod 500 the worse pod in this place absolutely the worst job I've ever had I did my best to try to help kids I even brought things for them like name brand socks. I gave one girl a pair of shoes fairly new. I would try to do nice things like bringing in kool- aid giving out extra snacks. I was forced into this facility at 14, and traumatized beyond belief. The staff let other girls try to beat me up over playing cards they thought I had taken. We were never allowed outside. We were forced to stay in our rooms, on lockdown, for months at a time. They would take our mattresses during the day (the only soft place to sit). They forced us to sit on concrete benches for 8-10 hours a day. We got a limited supply of torn up books. There was a few staff that I felt comfortable around when i really needed someone to talk too. And they were there, but even then we wasn’t able to talk to them that much because of everyone else that they had tend too.But I somewhat like the place. I wouldn’t recommend it but at the same time I do.
