past client here: most of the staff are wonderful, but the administration and management is horrible. for $1,200 a night, it should be much better. everything the clients get is cheap. majority of the money must be going to administration. not to mention, when they’re understaffed—which is most of the time— the clients can’t get anything. support is limited, and privileges are much less likely to be granted. another thing, if you don’t want your kid to have to “level up” for things like shower time and practicing musical ins... read more

Not a safe place for teens or staff. They are constantly understaffed, making it impossible for the staff to adequately supervise the kids, despite their best efforts. The RCs are overworked and traumatized by everything they are forced to do. We know they are trying their best. Evolve was very committed to my daughter’s mental health improvement. My daughter absolutely loved her individual therapist and I was gratified by her therapist’s ability to relate to my daughter so that she could then take in the therapist’s guidance and wisdom. There were some rough edges in the day-to-day which I attribute to short-staffing not a lack of professionalism. Although the idea of residential treatment can be scary, my daughter is very positive about her experience in retrospect.
