Love this place! I go to Tessa for my Brazilian waxes, and she is so good and so fast! Also, Morgan does an amazing job with hair. Whenever she styles mine it is perfect! I would recommend going there... As fast as you can!
I had a big event coming up and needed some waxing done on my eyebrows. I'm a dude so I don't get this done a lot but I wanted to avoid looking like a wildabeast on the close up shots for my event. Cassie was awesome and it didn't hurt that bad, my wife even signed me up for the nose wax which I was dreading, to my surprise it wasn't that bad. The service was great, Cassie definitely knows what she is doing. Can't say enough good about Amara.
THE WORST!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!! HIDEOUS!!!!! Don't go here! My stylist ruined my hair and almost completely ignored what i asked her to do. My hair is now three shades of strange ashy green brown and blonde with hideous Jersey Shore bleached blonde streaks in the front that are straight from the early 90's. This salon clearly has NO salon training standards. They seem to hire anyone. I have NO idea how they won 2 best hair salon of Utah County Award. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WITH BALD SPOTS AND SORES ON YOUR HEAD!!!!!! I have spent Thousands of Dollars there! When I first got my Hair Done the Stylist did a Horrible Job! So they sent me to a Different Stylist to have it fixed. That got expensive! Then I tried some new Services out. I cant even begin to say how much I love AMARA! I had never been into Amara before, and I was referred by one of my friends! It all started the minute I walked in the door. The front girls were all so helpful and nice. After I got my hair done, I wanted to make a day just for me. So i decided to get a facial and also a pedicure. It was awesome! I just want to let everyone and anyone know about my amazing experinces I have had at Amara Day Spa. Jessica Sessions is my stylist and I can honestly say I have never trusted anyone more with my hair then I do her. I can always say "do whatever you think looks good" and its like she can read my mind she always does just what I like. She is definitely the BEST!!!!! I decided that i wanted to spend a day of pampering at this new salon. I cannot begin to tell anyone how disappointing my treatment was. First i had a facial completed by lee. She would not stop talking about herself the whole time. All i wanted was to just relax. The salon was noisy and someone kept knocking on the door constantly. Amara is my favorite place to relax, rejuvinate, and shop!! The staff is so friendly and on the ball. It is so easy to spend time in such a clean, beautiful spa and boutique it is actually hard to leave. I do most of my shopping there because I know the staff is willing to help coordinate the outfits and be honest when I try something on. Leigh is one of the best business owners I know, she makes everyone feel like close friends and spends ample time with her clients. A lively spa with dramatic flare. I love the warm and friendly atmosphere. Amara brings a bright light in the dark of today's economy. I love all the girls who work there, some have become very dear friends. Ashlee's pedicures and facials are to die for. Leigh's waxing and spa treatments are out of this world. Tessa does it all and makes you feel like a million bucks. Rondi's hair cuts and color are amazing but I can tell you everyone there is the best!
