Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life, for sure. Good luck getting corporate office (any department) to even answer the phone let alone return your call. Send a email perhaps? Na, they don’t respond to those either. Horrible, horrible, horrible
Purchasing an Evolution EV Forester 4 Plus from Central Illinois Cars & Carts has been the worst product buying and service experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve owned multiple boats so that says a lot). After buying the brand new 2024 cart in September 2023 it had 3 simultaneous malfunctions that were extremely dangerous and rendered the cart inoperable on the first day we drove it before even getting to mile 8. Own a 2021 Evolution Forrester ..NO dealer will work on it. Lithuim battery pack dead after 6 months. The dealer said he replaced it but it still doesnt work. Shipped it back to them and they refuse to honor warranty. Tons of electrical problems. DO NOT BUY
1 yr, and my Evolution and Dealer have been awesome! I don't miss my Club cart at all.. many around me in the village have went and purchased because of mine and I have not heard one of them complain about dependability.. I'm not sure what's up with the bad reviews? But I know mine has been flawless and the three other neighbors that have bought them have also experienced flawless, except for one seat rip that was quickly repaired by the dealer...
My Evolution has been running fine. I had the dealer increase my speed no problem. I had a warranty seat repair and was taken care of very timely. The only draw back if it can be considered one is the slow acceleration. Which I understand. I have had mine one year now. Lithium batteries seem very reliable and the life is 2 hours.
I wish I could give negative star review. Customer service is horrendous. Delayed delayed delayed or no response. It was a simple matter that should’ve been resolved right then and there as far as the certificate of origin. Fortunately our dealer, who was getting no response back from them , accommodated us Never ever again
The golf cart is ok, but the support after the sale is unsatisfactory. Have been waiting two months and counting for the dealer to receive red touch up paint. Received the cart with several scratches that need to be repaired. Was told the distribution warehouse in Ocala was undergoing some overhaul. That is a poor excuse for not being able to get touch up paint for two months.
Never buy this brand. Corporate is useless and so are the dealers. When the cart breaks you are on your own. When it runs it is a good cart and reasonably priced but after 1.5 years I cannot get it fixed! Called California and Ocala they do not care, once they have the sale you do not matter!
