I went to Union Station yesterday, 1/28/25 and I found that the two chargers I was able to find (its a confusing garage and all four chargers are not in the same place) were OUT OF SERVICE. The EVgo map of chargers does not indicate that a charger is out of service which is very frustrating. It is also frustrating that, EVgo, Chargepoint and Blink chargers are are often NOT WORKING. These companies have to do better than this.
Horrible experience. Chargers are offline.
Not accessible to public - the chargers are for rental cars only
I had a really good experience here. The EVGO app provides a QR code to scan to get into/out of the parking garage for free, which worked seamlessly. Car charged from 30 to 90% in 34 minutes, which is faster than other fast chargers I have used. It was also 20-25 minutes faster than the initial estimate that my car gave for charging time. Connecting and paying through EVGO app was simple.
