They were coming around our neighborhood, knocking on doors. First, they need to be registered with the city and, of course, they were not (at least there was not any registration proof mentioned or displayed as it was supposed to be). Second, they are very pushy and repeat over and over that they are not selling anything. People are just supposed to drop everything and sign up for their so-called energy audits. I had the same experience with Derek as Thomas. I was on my porch cleaning my furniture when Derek approached. I was pleasant at first but after a couple of minutes I told him I was not interested. He used the same line “I’m not selling anything “. I told him I didn’t want to waste his time or mine but he persisted. I told him I have a no soliciting sign. He looked at it and continued talking. Horrible! Messed up original order. Shorted us 2 panels which I had to then pay out of pocket. No Xcel dividend for 10 years that they promised to be paid annually. I called Xcel and they have no recollection of such a program. Damaged my front door by taping their license to it. They did come out to fix the door but it took 20 emails and 20 phone calls to hound them to come fix it. Classic overpromising and underperforming company.

They do not know how to read and are very rude and too aggressive. I have a "No Soliciting" sign on my door and their Rep still knocked and rang my doorbell. I have two dogs that get super fired up when the doorbell rings and it really ******me off. I asked the rep "Derek" if he knew how to read and pointed at the sign and he responded, "Nope, never made it passed kindergarten". I would not use again. They did not get me in the xcel energy solar rewards program for 2022 stating that since I signed my contract in 2021 the rewards pot was out. They are 3 months late installing which is scheduled for 2 days from now. So since I am now installing in 2022 you think they would apply but they will not. I paid half up front so they have had my money for 6 months. In this time, I debated on moving. I asked if I could move the solar panels to a new house and no one could answer me. Just had a sales person ring our doorbell. She clearly stated to me that Everlight Solar was partnering with my local utility company. That is a bald lie, I checked, my electrical utility (Privately owned Utility for our town) has not partnered with them or heard of them.If the pre-sales coordinator is going to lie to you, just think what the high pressure sales person is going to do.... stay off my property.

A representative from Everlight Solar knocked on our door and asked if we would like a free energy consultation to see if we were a fit for their solar services. The one caveat was that both my wife and I be present for the consultation. I thought that odd, but agreed since we are retired and easily available. Surprise, surprise there was an appointment available for the following day. The sales reps my partner and I worked with were very informative and to the point. They did all the paperwork for me and let me know when I had to sign documents to keep the process moving forward. On install day they were an unbelievably polite and clean crew - Ive dealt with a lot of contractors over the past several years and these guys were some of the best I ever had the pleasure to work with!

Predatory contractor who only partners with a predatory lender.One of the reps came to my mom's house trying to sell her solar panels. He made totally false claims about how strong the panels are (saying they are like putting armor on your roof) which were easily disproved by looking at the manufacturer's product sheet.I asked the contractor to provide the terms of the loan agreement in advance so we could review it.
