So....I replaced the windshield with them a couple years ago, no problems that I saw (through everready). 2 years later I need it replaced again in a different state. I get pulled aside and they tell me the side plastic covers have not only been cracked but there were also grooves this plastic was supposed to slide into......but the last window repair shop (everready) broke those plastic fittings and superglued them to the window creating a much higher price tag AND rust. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY: Went in for a car wash and Matt told me they could easily fix the "nick" on my winshield. It wasn't bad, but he said it's an easy fix and would cost nothing for me. They came to my work and completed the service (asked me to sign before starting the repair). When I walked to my car I immediatley noticed a clearish circle about 1 and a half inches in diameter AND a crack within the circle. I had my windshield replaced when this business approached me at the car wash. It was convenient. This was about two years ago. They call me about once every two months. It is harassment. When I don't answer the phone they don't leave a message. I ask them to stop calling me and they have told me they would. Now (8/31/12) someone named TJ told me they are unable to track their customer's preference because they don't have a computer system. I will never do business with these people again!
I work for ever ready glass and aome people are right but we have new management and we are doing the best we have ever done. Yes I do work there but for a long time I was not happu with the way things where delt with. But now we are better then ever. Thank you new management.
I have used Ever Ready twice for a new windshield on my 07 Vibe and I could not be happpier!!! They did everything they said they would when they said they would. And yes, they do use the good OEM glass not the cheap stuff like others. I have even used their FREE chip repair service, what a great PLUS!! I am getting ready to call them right now for a replacement in our company truck. I would not go anywhere else.
Read other reviews after I scheduled two efforts to replace windshield. They struck out both times, could not provide service at the agreed time/place. After reading other reviews I now understand they have a serious management problem. I'm all about spending my money with local businesses whenever possible, but they have to meet their end of the contract. So, I'll go with a company that has more favorable reputation. This is my three stikes and ever-ready is out. In my opinion Ever-Ready Glass is one of those good 'ol boy companys, I mean sure you can get a free windshield hear and there if you know the right person. but it is not always the best idea to go with the under dog, let me elaborate on this. Customer Service - they respond a if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to pay them to do their job. Product is good. Installation poor if they damage your plaster or window pane you have to take care of it.....
