As far as waxing goes, you can't ask for more! – I've lived in many countries over the past few years and have had my fare share of brazilian waxing adventures - fortunately, my experiences at Eve have not proved to be anything other than painless and often, enjoyable. Didn't know this was a babysitting center..... – Eve is too small of a space for all the people they try and squeeze in at the bench and the manicurist tables. TO TOP IT OFF...one of the employees brings their bratty kid which makes customers feel anything but relaxed! When I went, the child was playing around like any 6 year old would want to, BUT he proceeded to put his dirty tennis shoe in my footbath! Gross! Did the staff say anything to me...NO. Quickest, least painful Brazilian bikini wax – I've been going to Eve for about ten years now. It's the only place where I don't dread getting a brazilian wax - the ladies are so quick and it is NOT very painful. I've tried more expensive places and they took longer and hurt a lot more. The waiting room is tiny (I often wait outside), but the price and the excellent bikini waxes make it worth it. They are always willing to try and squeeze you in if there aren't any appointments available, too.
No pampering but get the job done – I went for a couple of times for a brazilian and everytime is great! I like it because it is quick. Who wants to be in those weird positions for too long! I never been to another place so I can't really compare...well, I don't want too many people seeing and touching my private area anyway. However, I have very positive experience every time I go. Tips: It is going to be pain as all waxing is. Go for sensitive wax for brazilian...take a painkiller beforehand will ease some discomfort.
best place for waxing and MAYA is the BEST! – i've been going to eve for brazillian waxes for a couple years now and it is definitely the best place to go! maya is fantastic - she's quick, friendly, and it barely hurts! she also treats her regulars great and will try to squeeze you in no matter how busy she is! I dont even live in new york anymore but i make the trip to get waxed there - i dont trust anyone but maya to wax my bikini!
CAUTION – I usually go to Eve for my cheap Brazilians but I was severely burned this last time. I thought it was the usual pain of waxing but the next day - I realized I had a terrible burn on my rear! It's been a week and I see and feel no improvement. My guess is the wax heater was not properly maintained at the right temperature and the waxer did not wait before application.
I got a brazilian and enjoyed myself! – I have been to EVE on three different occassions and I've used 3 completely different waxers, and they were all wonderful! Most recently I had Elizabeth who was quick and really friendly. The front desk staff is really funny and down to earth! "The Best Eyebrow Shape!" – I am 100% Satisfied!!! One of the waxers (Jola) made my eyebrows look beautiful. She knew exactly what I was looking for. Jola used the less painful wax and talked me through the process. I am positively sure that she is the best in the Eve Salon. I strongly recommand Jola for any waxing!
Best Brazilian Wax! – Eve is my favorite! I had the luck of having Yasmine for my first appointment and I have gone to her ever since. Now we all no there is no such thing as a pain free brazilian but Yasmine has given me as close to pain free as you can get. She is thorough, attentive, expeditious, and quite friendly. Eve is in a quite small space its true but who cares everyone is friendly and the service is GREAT!
