Dr. Dougherty removed a screw from a previous injury which was affecting my ankle joint. Removal of the screw brought immediate relief to my ankle. I was having a lot of pain daily and now I am free of pain. Dr. Dougherty is an excellent surgeon, takes time to explain things at an understandable level and listens to you.
Was in a lot of pain until pinning and casting. Once done. No more pain! Dr Dougherty and his entire team were always encouraging and supportive.

Dr. Dougherty took phenomenal care of our daughter after she broke her elbow. She required surgery, which is always stressful, but he made us feel so at ease with the entire process and the surgery went seamlessly. He never made us feel rushed, he answered all of our many questions, he was always on time and truly it was just a great experience all around. As our 7 year old says, “ Dr. Dougherty is the best!”
I only saw Dr Dougherty once for a knee fracture. I saw his PA first. Then two weeks later after X-rays he told me I was healed and to go for PT. He was very Professional and I was very happy the Hinsdale ER in Joliet sent me to him I felt very confident knowing he would know what to do also his staff was very knowledgeable and professional.
Dr. Dougherty is superb. He took My case after I had a fall accident in Florida. Since I was operated for my broken femur in Florida, other practices would not see me here in Illinois. the doctor is down to earth and shows care for his patients.
Dr Dougherty was efficient, friendly, thorough. He took the time needed to hear my concerns, explained the situation well and made sure that I understood. His staff also heard and addressed my concerns through the healing process.
I was very lucky to get Dr. Dougherty via emergency at Good Sam. Bad break, required metal bracket & 8 screws! Wonderful team!
