One of the worst experiences with a dentist of my life. She was under the direction of the Open Door Clinic at the time and she tried to numb me for a root canal. Unfortunately it did not work the first time and I informed her I could still feel everything. She said she would give me another shot. I did not feel the 2nd shot go in, and at that point we were 15 minutes into the procedure. I informed her that I did not feel the 2nd one. I have never been treated so roughly by any dentist. Rough and impersonal. I wont go back.
Dr. Joy is an excellent dentist! My husband been started going to her first, he has had significant amount of dental work in the past. I always trust his judgment when it comes to dentist, and he never steers me wrong. Her entire office staff is friendly, efficient, and incredibly helpful. As a medical professional myself, I would highly recommend this office.
