took my elderly mother to see Dr. Eugene Yousik Roh at Stanford Orthopedic Center, and the experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. After injuring my knee in a fall, I was referred by the Stanford ER to the Stanford Sports Medicine Clinic. At my initial visit, Dr. Roh did not propose any treatment until I specifically asked whether surgery might be necessary—prompted by my chiropractor’s advice that an MRI was needed to assess the damage.
