Ran this 5 times awesome course and one of my favorite half marathon
If I could give this race 6 out of 5 stars, I would. Super organized, flat course, great crowd, and I raced a guy to the finish line for about 110 yards on the Hayward Field track. I also lowered my PR by about 10 minutes. Well worth the trip up, from California.
Lovely course that is mostly flat with perfect weather. Amazing support from the community cheering on their lawns as well as the planned cheer groups and entertainment. Even law enforcement blocking the roads cheered you on. Water stations set up every couple of miles and always a breeze to get through. Clif stations set up with 4 flavors of gel packets and also a banana station. I will definitely do this race again and I can see why it's a great race is you are qualifying for Boston. Great marathon, could use more crowd support but overall, can't beat finishing on Hayward Field! :)
