I saw Dr Etcheverry many years ago for an ingrown toenail and had no problem. Years later, I no longer had private insurance but was on Medicare. I called his office to make an appointment. The receptionist asked me what the problem was and I explained to her that I had an ingrown toenail. She went ahead and scheduled me in for an appointment. I brought my 7 year old in with an ingrown toenail. The doctor sat with us for 5 minutes and told me to wrap her toe in vics vapor rub everynight and to soak the toe in warm water for 10 minutes a day. The toe got better. My complaint is that we were billed over $800 after our insurance paid for $80.00. We called UCLA multiple times to tell them this has to be a mistake. They just wouldn’t help us and kept sending us the bill for months. My husband kept calling the doctors office to talk to someone there and never got any he... read more
