I've been seeing Dr. Rubin for 15 years. Thanks to her lovely manner and excellent service, I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I've had a variety of work done--cleanings, fillings, crown, etc--and have been extremely happy with all of it. I highly recommed her.

What's not to like and admire about Dr. Esther Rubin? She was there when I needed compassionate support and the expertise to heal and restore a healthy mouth. She has continued inspiring the self-care I'd not been giving myself. She radiates gentle confidence which set me at ease from the moment she welcomed me into her pleasant office. I have found Dr. Rubin to be a kind and understanding dentist. Additionally, I have had several procedures and have had no complications or pain. I have a fear of dental work and Dr. Rubin has never been dismissive of my concerns--she has worked with me, and guided me through dental procedures using deep breathing. Met Dr. Rubin in 1985. My dentist at the time asked her to do a tricky root canal, which he was unable to perform. She was a young Columbia Dental School graduate (Phi Beta Kappa) sharing office space. She did not stretch my cheek or lean on my jaw. I did not feel the needle when she injected the anesthetic. It is obvious that Dr. Rubin loves what she does...and is at the same time a real professional. My new smile is one that I can shine all day and everyday. I had stained teeth and crowding, and overgrown gums. She fixed my smile with a combination of veneers and crownsand gum trimming. My teeth are straight and whiter; my gums no longer show in my smile. Dr Rubin is kind and attentive to her work and my needs. Her staff follows through regarding my comfort when needed. I have recommended her to others.

I have been a loyal patient to Doctor Rubin for 15 years. She is responsible for my sparkling smile and pain-free mouth. In the beginning, I needed a lot of work because I neglected my teeth out of sheer phobia. The overhaul on my mouth was not a breeze. One tooth that she did with non-mercury filling was deep and subsequently hurt so in the end so I needed a root canal [so sad for me]. However, it all went seamlessly. If you visit dentist Esther S. Rubin, hang on to your wallet and your teeth. I first saw Dr. Rubin on October 25, 2010. Previous x-rays showed 2 teeth with tiny cavities, although I was asymptomatic. Dr. Rubin took a new and complete set of x-rays, $245.00, and $175.00 for the evaluation. At my next visit, however, she recommended more x-rays, although the previous x-rays were supposed to have been a complete set!
