Fabulous Dry Cleaners – Meurice is really fantastic -- I was immediately drawn to them after reading about the other reviews on Citysearch. I have gotten IMPOSSIBLE stains and wrinkles on shirts, and Meurice never ceases to amaze me. They are always right on top of things. These dry cleaners brought life back into my clothes... and the alterations they did were spot-on. Plus, it helps that the gentlemen there are always neatly dressed, well-spoken, and knowledgeable about all of their services.
Miracle Workers – My lovely Ligne Roset sofa bed had been rendered hideous by my beautiful dogs rolling on it and making it extremely filthy. I'd tried other cleaners to little benefit and fearing that I'd blown my chances by having already had it dry cleaned. however Meurice pulled a rabbit out of a hat and I now have my sofa bed cover back in thoroughly presentable condition. Worth the high prices – The dry cleaning and tailoring services at Meurice are top notch. The prices are high, but given the quality of the service, ultimately worth it. In particular, Natalie, whose the frontwoman of the shop, is gracious, kind and expert. Highly recommended.
First class handbag cleaning – I live in Philadelphia, and I sent two Coach bags to Meurice for cleaning in the past two years. Both times they did an outstanding job in giving the bags a clean, fresh look. In addition to their cleaning skills the staff have been courteous, friendly, and thoroughly professional. Dry Cleaning that Performs Miracles – It was a party; I was in the garden, wearing a full-length 1970s perfectly-tailored Burberry trench. My friend was holding a full glass of red wine; tripped; and emptied the entire glass on my trench, shoulders-to-belt-to-the last hem at the bottom. They are magicians! – Recently took my grandmother's christening dress in to be cleaned and restored so my new baby niece could wear it to her christening. The dress is from 1923...very beautiful but totally discolored and wrinkled. Best Suede/Leather Cleaning Professionals – Don't ask me what I was thinking when I bought a robin-egg colored suede jacket. But it seemed like a good idea until I wore it and it became stained and dirty. It looked so bad I couldn't wear it anymore. Meurice Garment Service cleaned my jacket and it looks like new!
