Awesome place we bring our two guinea pigs Oreo cookie and Chips Ahoy there, they are a big hit! Always willing to give advice over the phone and spoils them with strawberries when we visit!
So relieved that we found an amazing vet - Dr. Aaron Lothrop at EVC. One of my dogs has had traumatic experiences at the vet in the past and it typically is stressful for him requiring muzzling and multiple techs holding him down. Because of this and the former vet offices insisting they take him to the back of the building, I felt it was time to change vet offices and build a trusting relationship with the vet and between my dogs and the vet! Thank you so much Nurse Alex and Dr. Aaron....I had to make such a hard decision about Fluffy and you made me feel like I was doing the right thing. In times of grief, you are not always thinking clearly and know that it is the right thing. You guys are so compassionate, gentle, caring and loving. Dr. Francois, Dr. Elizabeth and the staff are amazing, caring people. Our Abby had just been diagnosed with a very aggressive tumor and she declined rapidly. We had to do the unselfish thing and let her go. We are devastated but Dr. Francois, Jess and Stephanie were so truly amazing as they worked with me. Their compassion is such a gift. I can't say enough great things about Essex Veterinary Center. �
The staff here are amazing!! we had to put one of our rats to sleep and the staff here surprised us with a sympathy card and wooden box with her ashes highly recommend this vet. Special thank you to Dr. Elizabeth for taking care of Nadia in her final hours with us you helped make an emotional decision for my wife and I a little easier and allowed us to be with her for as long as we needed
My basenji was attacked on a Saturday morning and I rushed her in. Being elderly and having a heart murmur I was very concerned about treatment as she needed stitches. Dr. François was fantastic at calming me and my 2 young children. I was ushered by my dogs side and my kids were entertained briefly by staff until my sister could arrive. They heard my concerns and knew just how emotions can overtake the strongest when it comes to their pet. Thank gosh she was patched very quick and they follow up with calls.
