I currently live here and YIKES. There are major structural and plumbing issues in these buildings. I am genuinely appalled that they can legally sell units here. These are some sneakyyyy realtors/agents here. The elevators are constantly broken, the water/pipes leak in many units, the hot water goes out monthly, vehicle isn’t safe in the parking, tons of Airbnb’s running secretly with many tourists around all the time, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I've held off writing any kind of review for Essex despite my experiences here in hopes they would fix the issues I have been contacting them about. In the 3 years I was there.. there were multiple shootings & crime - (there is no security), the elevators are always breaking down, the garage door goes down all of the time and be prepared to see some seriously sketchy people ask you to let them into the building. I truly loved living at Skyline and always praised it for 3 years that I lived there, but I moved out a month and a half ago and 42 days after I still haven’t received my security deposit and a refund for the rent (they were supposed to charge me only for a half of the month, but charged for the full month instead on accident). I’ve called and emailed Brittany Catral and their leasing office at least 20 times in the last few weeks to check on the status of the refund and there is zero response. Horrible place to live if anyone is looking to buy here in the new condos I highly suggest not. Crime, horrible leasing, utilities don’t work. Dead rats and cigarettes all over floor in stairwell. Place always smells like weed
