I lived there for over two years on the 18th floor back in 2012, it was a pristine beautiful community, only one time the above unit water was leaking into the walking closet in my unit which they took care of it , other than that no issues with elevators etc, I am considering to move back here but if there has been no freshen up the units or updating the appliances etc from what i read, its a shame as it has a beautiful view and really conveniently located. Terrible Experience at Essex Skyline - Do Not Recommend I honestly don’t know where to begin with how awful my experience has been living here on the 20th floor of Essex Skyline. This place has been nothing short of a nightmare. First off, the elevator is constantly broken, and I've had to use the stairs far more times than I can count. I've held off writing any kind of review for Essex despite my experiences here in hopes they would fix the issues I have been contacting them about. In the 3 years I was there.. there were multiple shootings & crime - (there is no security), the elevators are always breaking down, the garage door goes down all of the time and be prepared to see some seriously sketchy people ask you to let them into the building. I’ve moved here a few months ago, and the people here are always nice, especially Jonathan, who works in the leasing office, has solved any problems right away from the first time I came to see the apartment, and he’s always kind with a smile.
The very beautiful building with a great location but unfortunately when you get inside,the level of security,cleanliness of amenities and common areas are awful and the management doesn’t care even though they get notified by people who live there.There are times when you have no choice but going to your unit on 20th by foot. No one is responsible for any thing in this building.Appliances are at least 15 years old.
