Lo único que se rescata es la ubicación pero el frente estaba en refacciones, tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación porque la asignada era tétrica, la que nos dieron era menos tétrica, sin placar, las ventanas sucias, de noche muy ruidoso por la música de la calle, la atención muy antipática del empleado de rastras de la noche. Muy caro en relación a la calidad y servicio ofrecido. Le sobran 3 estrellas, porque apenas llega a 1 estrella.
Amazing stay. Service was exceptional. Location was perfect. Price was competitive. Super chill vibes for a weekend with friends. 10/10 Only additional note is that the room doors don’t fully close on their own so make sure to pull them shut when leaving. The security guy was cool though and would close the doors to rooms people accidentally left open. Hopefully they’re working on a fix.
My cousins and I visit South Beach about five times a year, and we always stay at the Essex. Each visit keeps getting better, and the main reason is one person: Joel, the supervisor. Joel’s customer service is truly top-tier. He goes above and beyond every single time—whether it’s recommending great local restaurants, extending my stay to make things easier, or personally checking in at my door to ensure everything is perfect. Nos hemos alojado una noche y la verdad, que para eso está bien, porque el baño no tiene donde dejar nada, muy pequeño, en el “vestidor” una abertura en un lateral de la habitación, las cañerías pasando a través de un boquete que se quedaba abierto donde podían entrar bichos. La habitación inclinada por lo que la cama inclinada. Mucho ruido exterior que no te deja dormir. Por otro lado las camas cómodas y limpias, aunque la habitación en sí, no parecía estar muy limpia.
