We used Essex homes for new home construction, of course we didn’t expect perfection but when your home has a back porch that is roughly 7ft off the ground, one would think cement would be used to create a safe structure. We are in the process of replacing said porch and noticed during demolition that NO cement was used on any of the posts holding the porch up.
