Worst rental management company ever!!!! You can’t even contact the management company and they rely on communication through property site management that can’t communicate with everyone because she only speaks Spanish and she won’t put you in contact with essential management themselves and that’s if that person is still the property site manager because it changes weekly! Wish I could give zero stars!
To date, Essential Management has not returned my tenant’s security deposit (past California’s 21-day limit), dismissed documented safety issues and code violations (break-in attempt, frequent police calls, no working heater), and cut off phone conversations instead of resolving problems. Their staff will insult you, and then cease all communications. If timely refunds, professional communication, and basic habitability matter to you, DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY.
Incompetent management with established harrassment behavior such as gaslighting, intimidating and dismissing tenant's rights. The manager didn't take liability for their own staff/ maintenance worker's damage to your rental or violation of laws- gaslit you that it would be your problem feeling unsafe and that property damage caused by their worker "didn't violate your tenant rights." Do not rent any place managed by this company. Will save you peace of mind.
