RecommendedFantastic Buffet , friendly staff.. win
I enjoyed my first visit very much. My dear friend Valerie organized a Saturday lunch celebration for a large group of women and we were graciously accommodated by the staff. Fixed price buffet (about $12 including tax, but do add a tip) makes it easy to pay individually. I have a dairy allergy, and the host thoughtfully explained which dishes I could or couldn't have on the buffet. Best of all, the delicious flavors played like a dance party on the palate.
Just came back after 2 years or so and the food tasted better than ever! It is a bit pricey but I’d recommend it for an authentic experience.

My husband and I ate here last night, was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. I had been following on Facebook and am so glad we decided to try it out. will be back Sunday for the brunch buffet. YUM!
We had such a wonderful date night at Essence of India. I was craving Palak Paneer and they had a very delicious one served with rice and a side of fresh baked Naan that I also ordered. Our server was very kind and the owner was also attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back for the Sunday buffet he suggested. So happy to have found good Indian food in Tallahassee.

By far the best and authentic indian restaurant in florida. The staff were super nice and polite the food was disastrously awesome. I wojld absolutely recommend the lamb sekh kabab �������
