This review is only for the drinks because we didn't eat. The drinks are impressive and delicious but you're probably getting a shot in a Collins cus it was so icy. The bartender was nice and attentive but she seemed like she still had training to do.
Wonderful place. Loved the downstairs bar. The bartenders ar so knowledgeable and nice. Great selection of everything!
Amazing trip back in time to the speakeasy from the heydays! Ask for Randy, he is a wonderful server and host. Downstairs bar is incredible! I wish D.C. Had a place like this.
They advertise that they have Short Ribs but they don,t they sell an Empanada with Short Rib Meat in it. False Advertisement for $ 14.00 a little too overpriced.
We were running late for the Todd Rundgren show so stopped at the Esquire since it's right across the street. The hostess was great in getting us sat quickly and the waiter, Oscar, was quick to our table and placed our food order prior to our drink order so the food would come out faster. He understood that we were in a hurry and we appreciated that. Kitchen messed up my husband's burger by not leaving the ketchup off but we were rushed so he ate it. The jerk behind the bar, bow tie and some kind of ear-bar ear ring would be better off in the cellar of a KGB torture cellar than the hospitality business...
