Despicable gym, equipment is a joke and no staff. Pathetic, no leadership and no response from corporate. we pay full price and only get 50% of the equipment to use, EVERYTHING in that gym needs to be service and a deep clean.

I had a situation when I decided to do the trial session with the trainer manager ******. This is after I already signed up online for my membership. He asked all the questions to make the Interaction personable and the used my words against me when I mentioned I couldnt rationalize spending $200 on top of my monthly for 4 30-minute sessions. Would have chosen ZERO Stars if allowed. This is the worst of the three locations on Staten Island, although Forest Avenue is no better. I travel for work, and enjoy LAF elsewhere - but the conditions at this gym have gotten so bad that I had to join another gym. Luckily I am in an annual contract that expires soon. LAF needs to take a serious look at how their Staten Island locations are being run. Most machine are either broken or missing the necessary pins to operate. Beware of LA Fitness center, facilities , management and employees and the corporation. You really positively ask for copy of any contract and read it before you sign any contract digitally. They will lie to you and cheat you if you trust them what they are saying and what youre signing digitally without getting any time to read while you are putting your signature on the electronic pad. Staff are like police people.Been given middle finger many times coming into club and inside club by staff.When i told female manager she minimized and pretended she didnt understand.Selective discrimination.

My son is 17 years and went into the location at ******************************************************************************* on March 12th without my knowledge or permission and signed up to use the facility. He paid $106.98 on a debit card at the time which I was later told was a first and last month payment. I was unaware of this transaction until March 27 when he was charged another $52.43. I wanted to cancel my membership. I went there and told the manager I wanted to cancel my membership. He said it was cancelled and I would receive no more charges. I got a charge this month. I want the charge reversed and to not incur any more recurring charges

This by far is the absolute worse gym around. Always filthy. The Steam Room is always down. Today when I was there steam room worked but it was so hot you couldn't sit in there. The HOT tub was cold. They had no Hot Water for the showers. The female they have cleaning just comes into the Men's locker room and just stays in there. Its actually quite comical how bad this place is. And now I am reading how bad it is to cancel. What's even more comical is that I still go here
