During Covid (back on March 2020) I called to cancel my membership. city Sport advised me to freeze the account and offer to waive the $10 monthly freezing fee. 27 months later, I realized that as they opened their place, they reactivated it again and changed me for 17 months a $10/mon fee. I never used the service due to health issues and luckily my card was decline a month ago which they reached out to me and I realized that they charge me for that. This gym is quick to try to charge you 3 months ahead of time without permission of the member, but cant even keep their equipment clean. They took out 3 months worth of payments and then still took out the yearly me ever ship fee around the same time. I reached out to them for a refund and only refunded me 1 month. I finally canceled my account and do not plan to do business with them ever again. Check your bank statement when you have LA fitness!

I work overnight shift. I get off work after a long shift finally fall asleep and La fitness esporta or whatever they call themselves these days called me four times in a row in a 3 minute span asking for my monthly dues. Woke me up out of my sleep. Completely unprofessional to call that many times in a short time span

Ive been a long time member of la fitness. Now that its esporta, I have seen zero improvements. This place is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, machines are not well maintained, nothing is ever cleaned, the list goes on. When a machine is out of order, it doesnt get fixed for a month or longer. Weve lost some great machines in the switch from la to esporta and have gotten NO NEW EQUIPMENT. We cancelled over a year ago. They have been charging us a monthly fee ever since. We have not even been in a single time to the gym since we cancelled. When I called they refused to refund the charges.

I have had probably the worst experience than anyone else. I was a member there for a long time. One day I came in to workout and the first thing I do is go to the bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom there was a man in the bathroom half naked. You can only imagine the surprise on my face. It was very traumatizing as you could only imagine. Sales people are horrible. I just wanted a month long pass and was sold on a year long pass with tons of fees never explained to me. The sales person actively hid the pricing sheet and did everything in his power to sign me up for a year despite me not wanting too.

They make it almost impossible to cancel. You can't do it on the app, you can't do it on their website. They deliberately are making it difficult to cancel. I called two different locations in my area. The first said I have to call the other location and talk to ***. When I called that location, *** wasn't there and instead there was an incredibly rude women who as soon as I started talking about cancellation she said I was breaking up and she couldn't hear me. The gym is being managed by arrogant and underqualified employees. They do not know how to handle themself in a professional manner. I recently had an accusassion from another member and was attacked by an employee there threathen to get physical with me. The employee accused me and offended me without getting explaining the nature of his accussassions.
