Awful business. Avoid Esporta and LA fitness at all costs. Had the membership for less than a week before i regretted it. I got started online navigating to the LA fitness website specifically to get a membership. Specifically because i needed a multi gym pass so i could workout anywhere. The page showed all different gyms including one in Auburn that was an ESPORTA building apparently. Nowhere on the page or during the process does it tell you that singing up for an esporta multi gym pass does not grant ****** to LA FITNESS... read more

I accepted that gyms are scams. If you going to charge me for any and every fee, at least have machines that work. Ive been at this gym for a month and the same machines that have been inoperable since I started are STILL inoperable. Mind you these arent even new machines. They dont care and have no shame. Also Ive even ***** water leaking from the ceiling. I wish I did a trial before signing up or at least read the ****** reviews.

Good morning,I am at the Mount Prospect location. I had reported to management, multiple times on different days, about many people not wearing their masks. The management says that there is nothing they can do. LAFitness needs to protect its members and this needs to be handled from corporate to help tge clubs manage people who do not follow the rules. If they dont wear their masks, they should be escorted out. I am going to email the BBB and Governor Prizker. This needs to be handled. Thank you,Sent from my iPhone

I joined LA fitness around fall 2021 because the staffs and trainers were friendly and made it seem like a good community. I happened to sign the personal trainer contract because I wanted to work out and thought maybe someone was able to help me. I did not know it was a 1 YEAR contract but thought it was a one time fee. I am seeking assistance in rectifying a situation at my gym where the General Manager ****, proceeded to approach me upon my entry to gym with my daughter in tow to disrespectfully address me (seemingly having a personal issue with me as a woman and a mother) to place my child (who was squirming and heavy in my arms) down in childcare and then check in, which I have down in past with no issue. TLDR: You sign up for personal training, you have to buy out and there is no wiggle room or negotiation possible. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful and gives inconsistent information.Really frustrated with my experience with LA fitness. I signed up for a 1 year personal training program. I knew there was a buyout clause. My financial situation changed about 4 months into my training (which I was not enjoying) and I asked if we could change my contract, not cancel. The club pool is the reason that I belong. It is and has been for six months disgustingly dirty. The pool decking and stairs into the pool are black. ALL THE **** IS COMING IN FROM THE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S LOCKERS ROOM FLOORS. The "ring" around the pool water shows evidence that the dirt is getting into the interior water as well.Club members have been complaining daily but to no avail. The entire company is a piece of trash. **************** is a joke to them. In order to cancel your membership not only do you need to go in person to do so but it has to be the operation manager (god forbid a salesperson whos allowed to SELL you a membership but cant cancel). I had to go in 3 separate times to finally get a manager. The 3rd time I show up theres nobody at the check-in desk but there are 2 employees chatting to each other behind a computer. They are unbelievably like machine than human, once you sign up for anything your card will be charged no matter how many times you ask them to stop. They don't LISTEN to you. The only thing they say is that they can't stop the payments! THIS IS AN ARERT! Even after they charged me for the whole 6 months program they charged me again for the month 7! cuz in their agreement says it's AUTO RENEWAL !!!!!!! Alert!
