I was referred to Dr. Elwazir after being with another gastro for many years. Some may be a little reluctant to switch doctors after being with someone for so long. However that reluctance was short lived. Dr. Elwazir was extremely knowledgeable about my history when he first sat down with me. He talked to me about what was currently going on relative to my history, and what he thought was reasonable going forward, setting my mind completely at ease. He was thorough in his approach.
Not only is Dr. Elwazir knowledgable, he also delivers excellent customer service to his patients. He listens before he responds, taking time for any questions I have. And I never feel silly for asking any question. It can be uncomfortable to talk in depth about your bowel movements and colon health, by Dr. Elwazir makes you feel at ease. He also shows empathy for your concerns ... something many doctors lack. He sets expectations for next steps and further communication. Staff is phenomenal!
Dr. Elwazir really listens, takes the time to explain things, and spends enough time that you know you're getting a thorough evaluation. My husband and I have both seen him and we are very pleased with both him and his office staff. I highly recommend him!

Had a routine colonoscopy and was referred from my primary care physician to Dr Elzawir. Very professional and thorough in pre and post op consultation, highly recommend him and the team at Dallas Endoscopy Center.
