I saw Dr. Elwazir in his office for the 1st time on 7/8/2019. I am 63 years old and never had a colonoscopy. I never intended to have one as i felt they are typically unnecessary and risky and i was not in any of the high risks categories. However, the last 2 years i had unexplained weight loss and anemia - my PP said see a GI. What a wonderful surgeon. I was very comfortable having Dr. Elwazir do my colonoscopy. He never spoke over my level of understand what he was telling me. He is very considerate of his patients questions and concerns. A very kind person. I would even recommend him to my children.

Dr. Elwazir is very gracious and respectful of the patients time. He never seemed rushed during my appointment and has a wonderful bedside manner. He seemed genuinely interested in my issues and was very personable. He makes you feel very comfortable and at ease while discussing symptoms and I would highly recommend him. His office staff is very professional while being warm and friendly.
Dr. Elwazir is great! Knowledgeable, attentive, easy to talk to, down to earth and treats with compassion and empathy.
