Your child is just a number here. They don't read the charts before appointments, they will forget to fill out penicillin allergy on the paperwork before your kid has surgery (happened to us!). They don't care to follow up if your child is hospitalized after an asthma attack bc their paperwork doesn't show your child even had asthma. They show their true colors if you owe them money. Took my daughter in last week bc she was running a fever over 104. Received a $500 bill today. I find that charge obscene for an office visit, strep and flu test. We will not be back.
We switched to ESD from another pediatrician about two years ago. Our experience so far has been wonderful. Wait times are never long, staff is friendly, and the doctors are wonderful and knowledgeable.
6-26-18 Office visit, Natasha for fatigue and fever, said virus..let it run course...7-02-18 took her to childrens dr....was MONO...so again missed DX with my short gut and Hirshsprung Disease child. 7-20-18 UHC EOB processed, we owed $112, NO PAPER STATEMENTS SENT. According to them they sent 2 billing statements sent.... Sent to collections 9-20-18, So IM beyond MAD, you know, it would be different if we were 6 months late, but 2 MONTHS from Insurance EOB😡
If you start with the practice make sure you never leave. They charge to send your children's records to a new doctor
