Dr. Ertle was my surgeon in the winter of 2017 and performed a bunionectomy on my right foot. At the time of the surgery, I was only eighteen years old but was experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort. Dr. Ertl did a great job of explaining that, even though I was young, the pain and severity of my deformity would only worsen. The care I received from Dr. Ertl and his staff has been superior. He, and his entire staff, are professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Erlt and Bryant Kearney, PA-C make a competent and compassionate team. I would highly recommend them for any and all orthopedic care. They take time to listen and their follow up is incredible. I could not have asked for a better surgeon or better care. We are so blessed to have them in our community!
My daughter has been under the care of Dr. Ertl for various orthopedic problems for the last 15 months and we’ve been so happy with the care she’s received from him and his team. The levels of compassion and expertise are unmatched.
The surgery Dr. Ertl performed failed and had to be redone. The second surgery was performed by a different surgeon and all went well. Patient recovery took about one year due to the failing of the first surgery which was done at Sauk Prairie Hospital.

Dr. Ertl and his entire office staff is friendly, professional and available to his patients. I had a total knee replacement and have told everyone how happy I am with Dr. Ertl and the service I received. The joint replacement class was very informative, the hospital stay was excellent and the transition to receive blood draws and PT in another town was seamless. The post care was also excellent.
I was very impressed with Dr. Ertl and his staff from the office visits to the surgery on my ankle for a bone spur and tendon repair. They were fast, very efficient, and very courteous. I had no pain during the surgery, after the surgery, or at any time thereafter. Healing time will be far less than I would have thought. Well done folks!!!
I was referred to Dr. Ertl by my primary physician Dr. Timmerman from the Spring Green clinic, he spoke highly of his capabilities and experience in dealing with my issues. After numerous visits with Dr. Ertl my experience with him was very pleasant, I was confident in his diagnosis and treatment recommendations, and the surgery performed was just as he described, and I am very happy with the way it has turned out.
