Being in a family of knitters and spinners and having a wife and daughter who maintain a flock of 60 sheep (for wool not eating) I started looking at machines 3 years ago. This Christmas my wife gave me one. The machine work is excellent, smooth and functional. What's more it works.
I started out with the original erlbacher Gearhart #66 in Jan 2011. I'm now knitting on The Erl #26 sine April 2015. The Erlbachers make great machines and have outstanding customer service. Love Jamie's videos on socktv. I'm so glad I jumped into this hobby! Socks Rock!

This is a fantastic machine and a fantastic company. I love my speedster, love doing various projects on it. The sock TV has great ideas and with the close up views and Jamie's humour you learn very quickly. You cannot go wrong . I have a beautifully restored Legare 400 so I am holding off on the new version. I will look forward to trying it out at the next meet in Cape Girardeau. We need lots of warm clothes for Canadian winters!
