In my honest opinion I was excited to hear there was an Eriks in Hayward, I accidentally ordered my mother and I, sandwiches from this location. The pesto turkey sandwich and usually we love it. But I think we’re just big backs lol the bread and overall flavor was different compared to the one in Fremont, CA— a lot smaller, and different it color and taste.. Good food, good meeting space for groups. Our writers' group has been meeting there off and on in the past and recently welcomed back again!
I had a very disappointing experience here yesterday. I placed an online order through Ericks online website for an 11:45 a.m. pickup. When I arrived at 11:50 a.m., the order wasn't ready. The staff member told me he never received the order and stated he couldn't offer a refund because it was placed online. Mistakes with online systems happen, but there was no effort made to rectify the situation or provide any level of customer service.
