Heres an update on what I wrote earlier. It took me until a few days ago to get an appointment and have a nerve conduction test done by a Dr not referred by Carlson. The results show extensive nerve damage on the ulner nerve caused by the surgeries done by Dr Carlson. There is no corrective procedures that can be done. I never changed what I said since the first surgery. He said there is nothing else he can do. That was a complete lie. Takes WAY too long to respond to patients' phone calls. Days and days when trying to reach someone about surgery on a broken wrist, even with a referral.
Dr. Carlson performed Carpal Tunnel surgery on my left wrist. It was the easiest and most pain free surgery i ever had. I’ve had 5 back surgeries, neck surgery, surgery on both knees and Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right wrist. All of the prior surgeries were with different doctors. My right wrist was done about 15 years ago and the recovery was more painful than any of my other surgeries. I was pretty happy that this surgery went so well and that my issue was resolved. After many decades of waiting I finally had my Carpal Tunnel issues resolved through arthroscopic carpal tunnel release surgery done by Dr. Carlson. I have to say " this was the most painless surgery I have ever had in my life" and I have had more surgeries in my life then you can count on the fingers of 3 hands. The only pain meds I needed was Advil when I got home and before I went to bed. I took no pain meds after the day of surgery.
