I have know Dr. Schiff since 2003. I came to him at 32 years old with many previous years of seeking help elsewhere for lower back and leg pain with no resolution. I lived in excruciating pain and was at my wits end. Dr. Schiff assessed me at my 1st appointment, sent me for scans and created a treatment plan to get me relief ASAP. Dr. Royster is not only extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about his specialty of Orthopedics, but also he is extremely kind, considerate and caring. I highly recommend him without any reservation.
Great experience. Was seen immediately after calling in for an emergency visit. Dr. Schiff was thorough with great bedside manner.
Dr. Royster took the time to answer all my questions and explained things to me and gave me ideas to help me continue to improve. I really appreciated that. I will go back in three months to have injections in my knees again.
Dr. Royster carefully listened to my assessment of my response to past 3 months of PT, the current status of my arthritic left knee, and my desires for current treatment. He did a thorough exam of both knees & hips, then drained the left knee dry & injected steroids. We discussed that when steroid shots no longer help, a total knee replacement will be the only option. Dr. Royster is a caring person and professional physican. He listens and is very attentive as you explain problems related to your visit. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Schiff has a great bedside manner and does a very thorough examination. He doesn’t order unnecessary tests and is very conservative in his treatment recommendations by first looking at non surgical alternatives (at least he does in my case). I highly recommend him.
Dr. Royster is personable, kind, caring explains treatments, procedures and exercises so a lay person can understand. My husband had knee replacement surgery and it went beautifully and we attribute that to God and Dr. Royster. My husband and I think he is the Best
