Dr. Ratner did my epidural injection in July. I informed him that I am allergic to iodine so he could not use the contrast dye. The day of the procedure, the nurses and I informed him again about my allergens and not to use the dye. He used the dye anyway. I was made to believe it wouldn't be use, so later that day when my back was irritated, I thought it was due to the steroid injection. Dr. Ratner is kind, personable and most importantly an excellent doctor. I got back injections under anesthesia that prevented me from being debilitated.
