A reknown doctor with excellent people skills. If you have neuroendocrine cancer, make an appointment with Dr. Liu asap. Out of state? Worth the trip. Can't say enough positive things about this wonderful person and doctor. I have had stage 4 for about 5 years and now feel excellent! Hope you will too!

Dr Liu is the best doctor that I’ve ever had. His knowledge and care is fabulous. He is such a caring person, and is one of the best physicians for patient with neuroendocrine tumors. The staff is always friendly.
Dr. Liu is a talented surgeon, has a wonderful way with patients and thoroughly explains the surgical plan. Because of the rarity of my cancer, and level of metastases involved, I wanted an NET surgeon. I chose Dr. Liu because I wanted a Gallium Scan (better resolution than Octreoscan). Dr. Liu saved my life; he's worth the travel and I highly recommend him! NOTE: To the reviewer complaining about FaceBook (seriously?). Considering you've never seen him, a negative review is pretty vindictive!
Dr.Liu is truly an amazing doctor. I honestly believe if we never found him my husband would not be here today to enjoy life and watch our 6 children grow! I noticed some people complain about him being late for appointments...this has happened to us as well but we have no complaints there because we know for a fact it’s because he is off saving someone esle’s life who is fighting the same fight. His level of commitment to bettering the lives of his patients is remarkable! 100% recommend him!!
Dr. Liu is the best! He has a fantastic personality to put people at ease. He explains in understandable terms. He is very patient and fully answers every question. His specialty is Neuroendocrine cancer. If you and anyone you know have this diagnosis, don't waste any time getting an appointment with Dr. Liu. I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Liu. He performed surgery to remove 3 Neuroendocrine cancer tumors on my liver a couple of years ago - surgery was a total success
He was incredibly insensitive to our concerns, did not show any interest providing any care, and top of everything he was 2 hours late. You should find someone else.
