I am in need of a hip replacement. When I called to inquire as to whether or not this office would accept a veteran, with the Veterans Administration paying the bill, I was asked "What type of insurance? When I informed the billing office that the VA would pay the bill, I was informed "no, we don't accept veterans or VA payments". While they can operate their business as they see fit, a little bit more tact in responding would have been appreciated.

We are, however, non-participating providers for the Veterans Administration HealthNet insurance. We'd be happy to coordinate a surgical consultation for you with one of our hip specialists through the Veterans Administration office. Dr B. was great. First visit I had two pages of questions and he answered all of them with a level of intelligence to match my medical knowledge, background. Long story short I let him replace both my hips and had a fantastic outcome. I would highly recommend him.
