$uper Clean - Members Don't Stink! if you're looking for a super health club/gym this is the place....if you not shy about spending an extra $100 amount this is the place to go too...all members take a shower at least once a day and nobody stinks!
They are loosing members.... The club is so desperate for members they are bribing members with free stuff. Some other members found out and they want the same stuff. Big rumors in locker room.
Run for the Hills! or another Club Do not complain to the GM if you have problems. He will just tell you that you are not a good fit for the club. I complained about the bad customer service.
One of the best clubs in LA. Great facility, but you pay for it.
Love Equinox great place! spacious and clean, great atmosphere, classes are always fun and challenging, simply a great place for a workout!
Best Equinox in Los Angeles Let me first start out by saying that Equinox gyms are my favorite. The people that work out there are hip but not overly obnoxious. By far this Equinox in Westwood is the best. It is spacious, new and the decor is chic and modern. I always feel like I have enough room and not too much overcrowding, unless I go during peak hours, which I tend to stay away from! Nice :)
I'll Stay Where I Am, Thanks! I'm glad to see all of these reviews of the Sports LA club. I was considering moving from Bodies in Motion on Bundy and Olympic to another club but for $100 less per month...and customer service that is pretty good compared to what I'm seeing here. No Complaining Allowed at The Sports Club/LA The only people who work out here are old and rich. And management is the same way. So if you do not fit their ideal, then you are treated like a second class customer.
nothing to go home to mom about... way too expensive (i paid 175/month for the basic membership). The amenities are few and not worth the hype or price. Here is my two cents: - you have to pay $5 for valet or $3 for parking EVERY TIME you work out- unless you find parking on the street which can be difficult. - the club is clean - there is a sauna, steam room, showers, and jacuzzi in the women locker rooms, but every gym i've been to has that-- even the student gym at ucla, when i went to school there. - large cardio and fre... read more
