I needed some info/help from Equifax. Got a number to call. (1 800 605 1111) is nothing more than automated sales spiels by Equifax. Close to an hour later on my cell phone waiting for my car at a garage, after demanding that I did not want anything they were selling and that I needed to talk to a human.... I got the simple answer "we are Medical yadayada and can't help you" then ended the phone call. Literally the worst bureau out of all three. They combined my Social Security number with someone else’s and after five years have still not fixed it even though I visited their headquarters personally and called multiple times. It’s messed me up so much that I’ve had to pay the max deposit on places that only use this bureau even though my credit is fantastic and shows that on both others. Equifax needs to get it together and actually fix their problems. This is so frustrating and has been for years.
