Really nice people at customer service window. If you have credit issues it's not their fault they are there to regulate and maintain good records and data. Pay your bills keep good credit and then you won't have to go down there. I've also found out that doing it online if you need any credit check or freezing it's a very easy and pain-free process once you get signed up.

First 1-star review I've ever written. I cannot explain in words how much I loathe dealing with this company. The technology and customer support are outrageously outdated and awful. Freezing my credit seemed like a good idea until I found out what an unbelievable pain it is to freeze/unfreeze for credit card applications, loans, etc. Never again. "Just do it on the website" - sure...doesn't work. Have to talk to a live person EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Nope, I'm done, after too many hours of my life wasted.
trashiest of the three credit reporting companies in usa. constantly locks users out. doesn't play nice with vpn. and too bad the banks keep using them so us customers are stuck fighting with them. Calling it a 'bureau' implies it's officially recognized by some government. It's not. It's used by the banks. That's their primary customer although now of course they're trying to sell directly to end-consumers. It is not a bureau. It's yet another crap business that american consumers are forced to beg and plead to.
Disappointed with the Accuracy and Support Process.This company doesn't even deserve a 1 rating. Unfortunately, my experience with this credit bureau has been quite frustrating. Despite lenders confirming that they have submitted complete and accurate information, Equifax continues to display incomplete data in my credit report.
