One of the best 24 hour coffee shops around, and an overall fantastic vibe in the place. But man oh man am I disappointed in the new food selection. I get that it's "baked in-house" (read: small toaster oven) and that it's probably way cheaper than sourcing it elsewhere. But it is an *extreme* case of sacrificing quality for higher profit margin. It's bad enough to knock off 1.5 stars. Otherwise, I love this place. I'm a regular who's camped out there a solid 1-2 days/week.
Request the pour over tasting and let the barista walk you through it. Always fun. Great beans and folks that know how to prepare them
I simply don't go to Austin without stopping in. It's a home away from home for me. I'd love to see some of the old pics of when the place was new.
