No integrity with the management!! I was a loyal Bellevue member for two years and when they closed the location (of which we were given no notice) Merle would not transfer my membership to the default club nearby or refund my prepaid dues simply because I registered at the Seattle rather than the Belleuve location. Consider the price... I'm not saying that Epicenter doesn't have problems, but in my three years at the club I've never encountered the horror stories recounted below. That doesn't make the claims untrue, but really, consider the price. There are few no-frills gyms at budget prices around. Expectations should match membership fees. The only things I'd wish for? 1) A steam bath that worked on a regular basis. 2) A "red phone" or some emergency communication device in the upstairs gym. I joined this gym right before it opened in January. It's not like other gyms I've been members of in the past. The classes are great. They offer a range of classes from pilates to turbo kickboxing, from cycling to hip hop. The facilities are hi-tech and BRAND new. This gym offers great rates for new members since it's still new. Join and you will NOT regret it!
